Payment Policies

File recovery services are increasingly becoming a common topic. There are tons of companies offering all kinds of recovery services. It is important to understand how people or companies will be charged for such services.

Evaluation Fee
Some companies have an evaluation or estimation fee. These fees are usually non-refundable, but may be waived should you decide to take on the service.

Hourly Fee
Some companies charge by the hour. The working hours required to recover your files are calculated, and you will be charged accordingly. It is not uncommon for such fees to exceed $100 per hour.

No Files, No Charge, PERIOD
Some companies charge only if the recovery is successful. In such cases, charges should only apply if you accept the recovery results presented. If no files are recovered, then no recovery fee will be charged. If there is a partial recovery, you can decide to either accept the recovery as presented for the quoted price, or decline the recovery with no recovery fee charged.

Guarantees
If upon reviewing the recovered files there is still some important missing data, the guarantee may still be applicable for a partial refund or for further recovery efforts.
